Outstanding Toolmaker made Unknown Precision Tool acquired from a recent liquidation by the New Bedford Vocational Technical School and found in the milling area of the machine shop – an exceptionally well made specialty tool for the machinist machine shop lathe or mill applications – we’ve been tool resellers for over 15 years and have never seen a tool like it, and we even had this looked over by a friend who is one of the most well respected toolmakers in the state if not in the country, and even he has no idea what it’s original purpose was – made with simply extraordinary quality, up to the standards of Starrett or other similar quality maker, however we’re not entirely sure what it’s used for – take a good look then make a fair offer and it’ll be yours, wait and it’ll be gone for sure!! The heavy weighted base reads “use this weight alone for 125 to 225 lbs gives half pressure stamped on lever” all pieces are marked with RM1 part numbers and two long bars are marked with graduations.
