Up for sale is a lot of machinist tools and parts-perfect for the seasoned machinist, tool collector, or craftsman who appreciates quality. This collection includes both vintage and modern components, with several precision-ground pieces, specialty holders, gages, and indicators of high craftsmanship. Some tools appear to date back to the late 19th century, including a patented 1885 gap gauge marked P. , and others show signs of military or industrial origin. Starrett style threading center gauge. Vintage gap gauge marked P. Patented June 2, 1885. Needle point dividers in original case. Miniature end mill with original plastic tube. Stanley 1-80 scraper handle – clean, well-maintained. Cross-bar spindle tool with knurled thumbscrews and ball-end arms. Assorted hardened steel blocks, punches, springs, indexing cams. Vintage knurled-handled turning tool and precision small parts. Several unusual jigs and machinist shop-made pieces, possibly custom for specific machines or setups. Plus additional precision ground blades, lathe tools, and indicators. Most parts are in good to excellent condition for their age. A few items may show light rust or oxidation from age, but remain fully functional or restorableAll items are untested but appear intact unless otherwise stated. INTRIGUE & COLLECTIBILITY: This lot isn’t just tools-it’s a glimpse into machinist history. That 1885 gap gauge alone is a conversation piece, and the presence of hardened precision parts, custom-made fixtures, and industrial-era dividers speaks to a bygone era of craftsmanship. They all seem to function and there are no apparent broken or damaged items but I may not have given a true accurate description due to a lack of machinist tools knowledge, although I do work with tools in another way and these seem to be high quality.
