This is a nice sliding tool rest that has two-way action and an extra bit holding head. This item has been used, but I took it apart, cleaned and lubed it. It is all good. ^ Let me tell you this: If you ever take the sliding holder off of the lower grooves, WATCH OUT, because the gib screws have tiny GIB INSERTS that easily fall out and get lost.
