This are 2 old heavy solid vice/clamping devices for round stock. The smaller one has a makers stamp on it but a bit worn that I can’t tell exactly what it is. There are no other stamps. It is fully functional solid, heavy. It opens max to just about 2 3/4. It can also be reversed to hold smaller diameter pieces. The jaws are brass. The larger one which has a diameter of 3 1/4 where the round stock goes. It has solid brass jaws with chrome knurled handles for locking. The plate which would attach to the bed of the lathe measures 4 3/4″ at top and 6 1/4″ at bottom. From top to bottom of clamp is 12. Everything is fully adjustable and works very smoothly. Machinists Tools Lot, S. Athe drill bits, r. Brand brass shims, Barden Precision ball bearings, Fafnir ball bearings extra precision, bearing cleaner. Engraving nameplates and tags, e. Athe saw blades, L. Ittle Giant screw plate, tap wrench bits, square heads, Greenfield GTD dye threader and more. All of these tools come from the same machinist set, straight out of the attic. We bought it to hang on to the box, this is everything that was in the box, nothing has been removed other than the box. There are loads of tools and odds and ends included. You receive everything in pictures and more that we couldn’t squeeze in. Included are other various smaller bits, notes, machining tools, engraving plates, notebooks, fasteners, other machining parts, and a nice antique wood box from Weis. Everything appears to function as intended other than one micrometer which seems stuck and one of the gauges may be missing the glass cover and not functioning, the other gauge appears to need calibration but appears to function. General wear and tear to the rest of the lot. The little giant set appears to be missing a few pieces. Lots of good antique tools in here. Thank you for your business!
