For sale is a COOPER brand machinist fixture with a small number 8450 stamped on the bottom. I can tell you that The COOPER name is visible from above on the shoulder (see last picture). The base measures 4″ diameter and there has been 1″ removed from one side of the base for what appears to be close work on Lathe or mill for grinding or cutting. It measures approximately 4-15/16″ tall, The shaft travel is approximately 4-15/16″ to 6-5/8 height with a lock nut. The shaft diameter measure approximately 11/16″ with a 1/4″ keyway, and has a 1-3/4 knurled thumb wheel for fine adjustments to the shaft height. The fixture weighs a heavy 4 pounds 10 ounces.
